The Water Story
Bottled Water Today

Drinking bottled water is a trend that started based on status and
marketing that grew into one of the supermarkets largest and fastest
growing categories.

Hollywood stars and sports personalities started the trend, elevating
drinking bottle water to a status symbol.  The trend has evolved into a
rock solid market segment that has turned into a fundamental
convenience for consumers of all ages.
Recently, 19% of persons surveyed (Supermarket Guru Quick Poll) reported their tap water tasted bad.  The same poll
determined not one person surveyed admitted buying bottle water for status.  With bad tasting tap water, its no wonder
the marketing hype of todays bottling giants is effective.  Visions of snow covered mountains, icy glaciers in Alaska,
waterfalls in the South Pacific and statements such as Ultra Pure, Natural Spring Water, and Natural Essence, adorn
water bottles across our nation.  In fact most US bottle water comes from municipal water sources from major cities across
the nation.

Many large bottle water companies do a very good job of filtering impurities and micro-beasties from the tap water
supplied them from municipal water providers.  Even better, some spring water companies bottle their water at the source
in plants inspected by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).  All of these water companies have something in
common,
THEIR WATER SOURCE.

Looking at the big picture, The natural cycle of water starts with the sun evaporating ground and ocean water, it
condenses into clouds that drop snow and rain on the mountains and plains.  The water drains back to the ocean via
streams and rivers and the cycle is repeated.  This cycle has been repeating for centuries creating drinking and irrigation
water supporting life on earth

Unfortunately this cycle has been altered as the industrialization of earth has occurred.  As an example, shortly after
World War II testing of nuclear devices caused all of earths ground water to be contaminated by fall out.  Today scientist
can accurately determine the age of water by the level of contamination present.  Other contributors to the pollution of
water lie in practices that are all too common.  Major cities dump raw sewage into the ocean and acid rain created by
factories exhaust systems, all contribute to the adulteration of the water we drink.  Fortunately the Environmental
Protection Agency and similar other agencies around the world are aggressively working to change these practices and
clean up the pollution.

There Is a Difference...

Park City Ice Water Company bottles water from a different source.  Deep in the ground, in fact almost 2,000 feet below
the earths surface is a huge pocket formed over 20,000 years ago.  The pocket is filled with water from the ice age.
Scientific study and testing has determined the water is between 18,000 and 22,000 years old and that it needs no
filtration or treatment of any kind.  The water in its natural state exceeds all current standards for drinking water.

To protect its purity, the water is bottled at the source in a state-of-the-art Certified Clean Room.  The bottling facility is
the first in the Industry to bottle water under strict Hazard Analysis at Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines set-up
by the United States Government.  The rigid standards protect the water and enable the Ice Water Company to deliver
Water the Way Nature Intended.
